| The Taonga Education Centre Charitable Trust has done an amazing job, which now includes the new Aranga Early Childhood Education Centre at Riverton Reserve in Randwick Park, Manurewa. This new centre advances from a Maori perspective the wellbeing of babies and little ones and their Whanau. The project has been a huge effort involving Georgina Kupa, Anne Candy, Rose Whaiapu, Erana Doolan, and many others. Special thanks to the Randwick Park community, especially Maree Beaven, Dave Tims and Denise Tims. Angela Dalton has been amazing as always; the Manurewa Local Board has been a willing and welcoming partner with Taonga, including here within the new centre in Randwick Park. |
